What is Community Strength.ca?

We developed communitystrength.ca as a destination for sharing community information. It’s a site that celebrates the organizations, initiatives and events that make a difference in our community.

It’s also a space to promote and support the groups and individuals that strive to make our future brighter. It’s a place about possibilities. And a place to support the threads of our community fabric – arts, sport, environment, education, social services and healthcare.

So many organizations are working in Greater Hamilton-Burlington to make this a growing, vibrant, innovative and caring place. We share a common vision – making our community stronger. And this is where we talk about it, where we can make connections to make it happen!

Our company is fortunate to have longstanding relationships with both the largest and smallest organizations in the area. Communitystrength.ca allows us to bring them to you and you to them.

This site isn’t about ArcelorMittal Dofasco. You will see some posts from us, but the overall purpose is for us to collaborate and build our commitment to our neighbourhoods and cities…together.

Our aim is to bring something different to the Hamilton-Burlington webscape. We’re focused on the good news and the great work happening in our community. That said, we won’t shy away from issues either, nor do we encourage you to do so.

Get involved! Add to the community calendar, post a blog about what you are doing in the community, upload some photos or video. Find an organization to volunteer with. Make connections. Most of all, help us recognize our unique community and the wonderful work of those within it.
