Government of Canada Supports Apprentices in Steel Trades in Ontario.

Today at ArcelorMittal Dofasco in Hamilton, Member of Parliament David Sweet announced on behalf of the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development, a $250,000 investment to further support the Canadian Steel Trade and Employment Congress' Workforce Development Intiative. The intiative has helped retain and employ 140 workers in the steel industry and with this injection another 50 new apprentices will be accepted into the program.
